"People will never forget how you made them feel."
-Maya Angelou
Empathy has always been at the heart of how I tell stories. It's a skill that can't be taught in a classroom or picked up in a training — it comes from truly listening, observing and connecting. And it's what sets me apart.
I’ve loved stories for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was glued to books — “a need for read, not a need for speed,” as I used to say. In my teens, I picked up a camera and discovered the magic of capturing life in motion. I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since.
After earning my BA in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, I launched my career as a multimedia journalist. Working in three newsrooms across the country, I learned to write, shoot, and edit under pressure — and more importantly, I learned the power of telling human-centered stories. That approach helped me earn an Associated Press Award, four Emmy nominations for feature storytelling, and, more recently, multiple local honors for nonprofit video work.
I’m certified in trauma-informed, asset-based storytelling and specialize in working with people who have lived experience. I strive to ensure every story is told with care, accuracy, and respect — centering dignity and agency at every step.
Today, I bring that same curiosity, care and creativity to every project.
Whether I’m producing video, writing blog content, leading interviews or managing paid media campaigns, my goal is always the same: to connect with audiences in a way that feels real.

I believe every person — and every brand — has a story worth sharing. People gravitate toward what feels familiar, what feels true. I shine when I can help bring those stories to life through words, images, and video. Let’s tell yours.
